2022 J-boat Roar at the Shore

Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the 2021-2024 edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing, as modified by Appendix E.
Eligibility: The regatta is open to all boats of the J-boat class whose owners are current members of AMYA and who are properly registered with the Class. Other entrants may be invited consistent with AMYA guidelines and objectives.
Schedule:
Online registration Entry Form $35.00
Skippers meeting will begin at 9:30 am.
Racing will begin at 10:00 am, no races will start after 3:00 pm.
Location: Racing will be held at Divine Lake in Spring Lake, NJ.
Entries: Eligible boats may be entered by completing an Online Entry at
https://form.jotform.com/220125931721134 by May 1, 2022.
Racing Format: The race committee will determine the number of races, after considering weather, course and equipment conditions. Six races are required to be completed to constitute the regatta.
Scoring: The regatta will be scored in accordance with the Low Point Scoring system as set forth in Appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing. For each six (6) races sailed one (1) worst score will be excluded from their overall score.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) finishers in the regatta.
